Certified Intensive Care Provider (CICP) Program The primary goal in the curriculum development was to provide Paramedics, and other healthcare providers, with the required knowledge, and skills base to provide patient care at the critical care level. This course also serves as a preparatory program to prepare the students to successfully pass various critical care board certifications such as the CCP- C, FP-C, and CFRN exams. This course will also serve as an approved Paramedic Refresher Training Program for those that complete the entire program. Course content will include: • Flight physiology   • Advanced cardiovascular emergencies • Advanced pharmacology   • Neonatal emergencies and transport • High risk obstetrical management • Ventilators and mechanical assist devices • Invasive hemodynamic monitoring • Peripheral and Central vascular access • Advanced airway management • And much, much more Audience: Paramedic, RN, RRT, PA, RNP, MD for minimum of one year (license must be current). Prerequisite: BLS, ACLS, PALS (or PEPP or ENPC, or APLS), ITLS (or PHTLS, or ATLS, or TNATC) Included Materials: CICP Pre-course textbook, CICP Exam, Course materials Duration: 13 class days.
